1/19/2025 Update

🤍❄️ Happy World Snow Day everybody! ❄️🤍

And just like the weatherman who predicts a blizzard that ends up being nothing more than a light dusting, I got it wrong. AGAIN.

So many lessons learned in this process... The most important: don't announce a release date until you have the track done! I put so many carts before horses on this one, and now I'm figuring out how I want to proceed. I truly want to finish what's started and get this music out into the world.

I hope to have a more in depth update later this week, but for now I will say that Snowfall will appear like that sudden snow squall you least expect. 😉

One positive from this process is that I discovered I genuinely LOVE crocheting snowflakes! Today is another original design.

And I will leave this post with a quote from Kendra Adachi that's been on my mind all day:

"You don't have to be perfect, and you don't have to give up. You simply get to be YOU."

Thank you to all who have been a continuing support, showing love, and helping me be me even (or perhaps especially) when I'm not perfect. I don't plan on giving up and will continue to enjoy this process with all its successes and blunders as I figure out how best to be me. ❄️🤍

12/17/2024 Update

Sooo…. my original plan was to have a full version of my song Snowfall released today as a birthday present to myself. But life happens (as it often does) and I’m in need of doing some adjustments to the schedule. This is definitely a labor of love and learning project for me and I wish to continue working and give it the time it needs.

I’ll continue posting crochet snowflakes until the new release date which is now:

January 19th, 2025

Did you know there’s a World Snow Day? And yep, you probably guessed it… January 19th is World Snow Day! Sounds like the perfect time to move the release for a song about the transformative magic of snowfall.

Until then, I will be posting updates here and sneak peeks to the process.

Today’s sneak peek is the original demo I recorded on December 15th, 2023 as a reference for the Ghostlight Stage Company’s Holiday Cabaret. The song was written for the event.
